Original publication has been recently rebound into brown cloth, flat gilt spine bands, label to same, new endpapers. Owner's label to front pastedown. Binding is VG. Contents are tidy and very tight, heavy (old) staining to first 25 pages or so, less intrusive thereafter, but all text legible, and the staining itself has aged with the contents. The final page (of the index) and been repaired and affixed to an inner endpaper with no loss of text. Contents begin at page 1, so there may be a title page lacking. So overall a nicely restored copy, some contemprary marking, but all content legible, and nicely bound in modern boards. Extremely scarce. Heavy book, extra shipping may be required to non-UK address.
