Autobiography of the pioneer aviator, for a while the husband of Amy Johnson, and the book includes a Victories and Defeats section, listing his successes (such as the February 1933 first flight England - South America and his defeats (such as the May 1931 Australia - England attempt, wrecking his aircraft when he hit a telegraph pole on take-off!). Second impression, September 1937, first edition the previous month.
